Whitby Krampus Run VIII on Saturday 3rd December makes its eighth journey out to punish the wicked on the streets of Whitby followed in the evening by the infamous Krampus Ball.

Sunday is the return of Thee Wyld Hunt with a very special race, this time with more participants and expanded competitions.

Saturday 3rd December

This year we will be using Chapel on the Hill as our WKRHQ. We will be in there getting ready and changing into our Krampus.

The venue will also be open from midday for the public to come and meets us and for younger visitors to come and participate in some activities. You can get your face painted up all beastly, contribute to the cave painting, enjoy the magic tricks of our resident shamen, make Krampus Kards have your photo taken on the Krampus throne and meet Thee Gods and a chance bag yourself some excellent official WKR loot. Having a roof over our heads here means we can be better prepared for weather that may not be in our favour....Sounds gut to uns.

Also at midday Krampusse will also be out and about around town with St. Niklaus to check in on everyones behaviour and make sure no one is being naughty. The Bandstand (YO21 3PZ) will also be another main location for Krampusse and where you will be able to purchase WKR loot which goes to help support the event. The Royal Hotel will also be open to visitors for drinks, food and a bit of shelter.

At 3.30pm the Krampus Parade will start from the Bandstand with the Whitby Pass and all the magickal beasts making their way up to the Whalebones, joined this year by Thee Whitby Wyrm as our featured creature. There will be SFX smoke and lights used on the parade.

This year for the finale at the Whalebones we are making a special request of you all....

Everyone bring something you can make and absolute racket with. Something you can shake, bash, drum, blow, squeeze or honk... Let's make an almighty noise for the finale at the Whalebones and drive that dark away.

Then make your way safely to Dock End (YO21 1YN) by The Endevour replica for an awesome display of Fire and Dance from our very special guests and friends Mister Fox.

The performance will start at 5.30pm

This piece of stained glass window has been broken up into 40 pieces can you find and collect them all? participating shops and locations around town will display this poster with a qr code on another inside. Scan the code with your phone go where it takes you and download all 40 pieces to rebuild ‘Thee Glorious Pane Ov Whitby Krampus Run’. Clues of the locations will be on our facebook page and here
