Whitby Krampus Run returns for the 7th time from a very extended hibernation to the olde streets of Whitby. A noisy and kolourful kostumed parade raising funds for Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary.
Krampus and his kompanions will administer punishment to the bad as St. Niklaus with help from St. Noddy Ov Hølder reward the good.
Featuring the powerful drums of Die Krampus Krumpettes, figures from local folklore and legend and a very special performance by the Tengu Taiko Drummers after the Neu 'Thing Ov Thee North' is krowned by St. Niklaus.
Krampusse will be around the Bandstand at 12.00pm and roam the streets of Whitby.
The parade starts at 3.30pm from the Bandstand (YO21 3PZ) and makes its way up Khyber Pass to the Whalebones for the finale.(YO21 3HA)
Weather permitting the Tengu Taiko Drummers will signal the end of the parade section of the day with an outstanding performance of Taiko drumming at the Captain Cook Memorial Statue. If the weather is poor they will have to change location to the Bandstand.

Sunday at 2.30pm there will be the inaugural Wyld Hunt as magical beasts make their way to the Abbey Headland for a very special Horse race.
